Transport from the airport in Venice to Abano Terme

If you are staying at one of the hotels that can be booked through Metaforum, your hotel can arrange to have you picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel.

The prices that each hotel charges for the transportation service vary between € 30 and € 35 for the transport from Marco Polo Airprt in Venice to Abano, and between € 40 and € 50 for the transport from Treviso Airport in Venice to Abano.

Arriving by public transport

Marco Polo Airport - Abano Terme:

The Marco Polo Airport is directly connected to Montegrotto (a neighboring community of Abano Terme) by the bus line SITA. The trip takes about an hour and 45 minutes and only costs a couple of euros.

An alternative is to take the bus line SITA to Padua/Padova, where you can get off at the train station and take the bus line Colli offered by the company APS, which takes you directly to Abano Terme: the bus lines A and AT stop at the former Reve hotel, situated close to the Hotel San Marco and other adjoining hotels. If your hotel is not situated in the immediate neighborhood of San Marco, please ask your bus driver for the most convenient bus stop.

Treviso Airport - Abano Terme:

The bus line SITA connects Venice Treviso Airport with Padua (Padova). In Padua, get off at the train station and take the bus line Colli offered by the company APS, which takes you directly to Abano Terme: the bus lines A and AT stop at the former Reve hotel, situated close to the Hotel San Marco and other adjoining hotels. If your hotel is not situated in the immediate neighborhood of San Marco, please ask your bus driver for the most convenient bus stop.
 
Alternatively, there is a bus line that connects Venice Treviso Airport with the Treviso train station. From Treviso train station you can take a train to Euganee-Montegrotto (a neighboring community of Abano Terme).
 
The Euganee-Montegrotto train station:

This train station offers good connections to Venice, Padua (Padova), and Treviso. The train station is situated around 3 km from the seminar center in the San Marco Monastery and the adjoining hotels. We recommend that you take a taxi to your hotel.
