How can I use the wisdom of the system in order to open up a space which enables people to formulate their basic needs and to design their future together?
To solve today's complex problems in companies, organizations and nations, we need innovative thinkers who apply themselves, work in a self-organized fashion and who are ready to take responsibility.
Open Space is a method that challenges and promotes these qualities. It has been used successfully for 25 years, in cases where existential or potentially conflicting issues have required an urgent solution, where everybody has held a different opinion and nobody knows the right answer.
Open Space is a meeting that starts with a central question that people approach in different self-organized workshops according to their interests. This method develops a dynamic of self-organization, responsibility, networking, learning, and co-operation. It provides a fertile ground for results that will be made available to the entire group when they meet again after one or two days.
In an "Open Space," groups can produce a surprising diversity of solutions in a short time, and these solutions can often be implemented very quickly.
Our workshop offers insight into the Open Space method, which, in fact, is more than just a method.
