A presentation by:
Dr. Stephen Gilligan (U.S.)
Date:
Sunday, August 1, 2010, 3:45 to 5 p.m.
Content
When we work with clients in therapy and coaching, they are clearly facing the challenge of creating something new in their lives-a new vision, behavior, relationship, external reality, etc.
The Generative Self work explores how we can move clients from identification with their Ego level-whose conservative nature is set to create old versions of the past-to the Generative Level, where creativity and transformational consciousness exist.
This brief presentation will identify the key characteristics of generative consciousness - for example, mindfulness, subtle awareness, creative acceptance, and mindbody centering - and describe ways they can be developed and utilized within a coaching or therapy conversation.
